What is Physiotherapy?

Veterinary Physiotherapy is a science based profession. ACPAT Physiotherapists are Chartered Human Physiotherapist and have already completed a full time degree in Physiotherapy.

Physiotherapy is a profession which specialises in the assessment and treatment of a multitude of muscle, ligament, tendon, joint, orthopaedic and neurological conditions. The aim of Physiotherapy is to restore and maintain mobility, function and enhance performance.

Veterinary Physiotherapists require veterinary consent to treat any animals in line with legislation and law. We strive to offer effective multidisciplinary care and may need to liaise with vets, farriers, saddlers, and trainers as appropriate and with your consent. All assessments and treatments are confidential.
